About our group:

Seagate's Product Performance Engineering organization for HDD (Hard Disk Drive) performance, yield monitoring and analysis.

About the role - you will:

Engineer in big data analytics development. 
•    To perform research work to develop AI/ML tools for Hard Disc Drive (HDD) manufacturing data analysis job
•    Early detection for Incoming/Assembly issues 
•    Outgoing quality prediction to reduce DPPM / Excursions
•    To work closely with IT-FIS team to deploy the new designs / Analytics into the factory IT system for real-time production.

About you:

•    A Bachelor/Master graduate in Mathematics, Statistics or Big Data Analytics discipline
•    Fast learner, independent and able to work in a cross functional team
•    Possess good knowledge & experience on big data & machine-learning statistics / algorithms
•    A team player with good communication skills (English, Mandarin)

Your experience includes:

•  Microsoft office
•  Python/Java development 
•  AI/ML project development is preferred

Located in the high technology district, our site in Wuxi is a global manufacturing hub, where more than 5,000 employees deliver technical services, customer test, manufacturing and support capabilities.
