About our group:

Analysis and Solutions Engineering (ASE) team at Seagate Wuxi performs sophisticated failure analysis to determine the root cause of HDD (Hard Disc Drive) failures, provides the solutions, and pursues the corrective actions to improve product quality, reliability, and customer performance.

About the role - you will:

· Be responsible for performing failure analysis on Quality, Reliability, and Customer Return HDD (Hard Disc Drive) failures to improve product quality and reliability

· Monitor product performance and identify key product issues

· Determine root cause of failures and recommend corrective actions

· Work closely with failure analysis team and cross-functional teams toward solutions and corrective actions

· Write comprehensive failure analysis reports

· Report and communicate findings to team members, supervisors, or management

· Support lab equipment installation and maintenance

· Provide technical support and guidance to team members

About you:

· A fast learner

· Ability to handle multi-tasks simultaneously and efficiently in a dynamic environment

· Ability to complete work promptly and prioritize jobs by the requirement

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills capability to successfully communicate with individuals at all levels of the business

Your experience includes:

· Knowledge in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunication, or Computer Engineering

· Electronics manufacturing preferably in Hard Disk Drive/Systems related industries

· Failure analysis is a plus

· Hands-on using lab test equipment e.g. Oscilloscope

· Computer programming and data analysis skills are preferred

· Bachelors and/or equivalent experience
