The Total Rewards Function is a Center of Excellence Function responsible for Total Rewards Program management, designing and implementing across business units globally. This position reports Total Rewards Senior Manager to provide solutions in benefits and wellbeing. In Seagate, with our 5000 strong staff strength which has a highly mixed employee profile, you learn to deal with the complexity that comes with it. You will have a taste of both the manufacturing and R&D environment that requires different strokes for each program that we introduce. This will test your ability to adapt and to think from different angles.

About the role - you will:

As a Total Rewards intern be responsible for

• Support the planning and implementation of wellbeing initiatives at a global and country level which involves vendor coordination, marketing and communication planning. This requires you to learn how to manage timeline, stakeholder and resources.
• Strengthen mental wellbeing awareness, accessibility, and engagement
• Support the design, coordination, and implementation of the Singapore Peer Support Program, including program structure, training cadence, communication planning, and volunteer engagement.
• Assist in the updating of policies on HR Portal
• Provide support in areas of HR metrics, reporting & visualization of data
• Research various HR topics and industry-leading practices
• Support day-to-day HR/Admin operations
• Other duties as assigned

About you:

• Passionate about employee wellbeing, mental health, or HR marketing, communication and analytics
• Able to understand data, trends and present reports to make actionable decisions
• Enjoy working with people. Able to work in a team, and independently.
• Creative and enjoys thinking out of the box has a flair in communication design
• Proficiency in written and spoken English

Your experience includes:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel
• Familiar with creative content production tools (E.g. Canva)

Location:

The Shugart site (named after Seagate’s founder, Al Shugart) is a research and design center. Easily accessible from the One-North MRT Station, many employees choose to take mass-transportation to work. Being a purpose built building, The Shugart has excellent employee recreational facilities. Take an active break at our badminton courts, table tennis tables, in-house gym and recreation rooms.
