Talent Acquisition Coordination Manager

HR Central is a dynamic, team-focused, shared services group supporting Seagate’s internal and external customers to meet their Human Resource needs.  Part of our HR Central organization is our Talent Acquisition Coordination Team.  


As Talent Acquisition Coordination (TAC) Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing our Americas TAC Team, under the leadership of our HR Central Sr. Manager.  Our TAC team provides high-quality, candidate-focused, support for Seagate’s America’s Talent Acquisition (TA) team.  The TAC team also works closely with the Americas HR Central Customer Support team.

About the role - you will:


  • Provide strong overall leadership for the TAC Team, instilling and supporting a culture based on candidate/customer service, a strong candidate experience and a “true team” environment
  • Lead, develop and sustain high quality, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders: America’s TA recruiters, staff, and leadership, as well as other global Talent Acquisition staff, TAC leaders and TAC teams in Asia and EMEA
  • Participate in developing, then ensuring, the TAC team meets agreed upon key stakeholder SLAs
  • Ensure the TAC Team adapts to the fast-changing Seagate and candidate market environments
  • Using SAP Success Factors, optimize the TAC team’s usage of the SAP Recruit Applicant Tracking System (ATS) module and processes to support candidate, job offer and onboarding processes.  Personally demonstrate highly proficient use of SAP Recruit skills, including position administration, and become a “go-to” resource for Recruit operational issues
  • Direct the scheduling of both simple and complex candidate interviews using our Yello system interview scheduling tools.  Establish and maintain a strong vendor relationship with Yello
  • Lead successful candidate onboarding during the critical post-acceptance / pre-employment period to keep candidates focused on preparing for, and starting, in their new Seagate positions
  • Support high-impact executive and other confidential recruiting processes
  • Lead other ancillary recruiting-related processes such as Employee Referral management, consulting on related policy updates and providing interactive internal consulting on overall TA/TAC process improvement
  • Lead and ensure the TAC team provides a high-quality candidate experience for all Seagate candidates, whether selected or not, from interview scheduling through to Day 1 orientation
  • Maintain a high focus on candidate personal and Seagate data confidentiality / data privacy for all transactions and data
  • Through and with the team, support local, regional, and global projects to improve HR processes, services or systems
  • May occasionally travel to other Seagate sites (5% of time or less)

Your experience includes:


  • Prior Talent Acquisition and/or HR leadership supporting geographically- dispersed recruiting processes, preferably within a global company
  • Significant expertise in working with an Applicant Tracking Systems (SAP SuccessFactors preferred) and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Scheduling both simple and complex candidate interviews with multiple interviewers and types of interviews, preferably using an automated system (Yello preferred)
  • Successful background in working with candidates, hiring managers, interview teams, recruiters, and HR leaders to develop and ensure a positive candidate hiring experience
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organization, time management, problem solving and attention to detail skills within a challenging, dynamic business environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business or equivalent combination of education and related HR work experience



May work from Seagate’s Oklahoma City, OK office, but open to incumbent working from a remote U.S. home location; if so will occasionally travel to Oklahoma City
