About the role - you will:


Play a pivotal role in driving our growth with our key channel partners in the Media & Entertainment vertical, across the United States. You will be responsible for driving business with our existing channel partners, as well as prospecting and developing business with new strategic Value-Added Resellers. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth, a competitive compensation structure, and the chance to represent a respected industry leader.  


The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience managing channel partners in the Media & Entertainment Industry selling Enterprise solutions ranging from Storage, Software to Cloud. Experience in selling SaaS/Consumption based solutions is a plus.  The successful candidate will be customer obsessed, a creative thinker with a passion for success and is team centric.  


Core Responsibilities:


  • Channel Management: Work with Value-Added Reseller partners working in the Media & Entertainment vertical to grow our Enterprise Data Systems and Lyve services & solutions business
  • Customer Acquisition: Identify potential customers and develop strategy and execute to acquire new business accounts
  • Quota Achievement: Meet and exceed sales targets consistently
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain an organized sales pipeline, track progress and update sales leadership periodically. Build territory and account plans. Develop and deliver proposals that address customers’ business and technical needs
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings and market conditions to expand business
  • Relationship Management: Establish and maintain relationships with key decision makers to generate referrals and repeat business
  • Cross Group Collaboration: Engage across Seagate sales teams and functional areas as an internal partner

Your experience includes:


  • Selling solutions that require a consultative, solution-based approach, in the Media & Enertainment Industry
  • Proven track record of successfully driving business with Value-Added Resellers and Distributors operating in the Media & Entertainment vertical
  • Excellent Demand Generation skills with the ability and passion for closing new business
  • Previous Sales Methodology training (i.e., MEDDIC, Command of the Message, SPIN, Challenger)
  • Storage, SaaS, Cloud, Services
  • Bachelors degree and/or equivalent skills and experience


You might also have:


  • Experience in selling SaaS/Consumption based solutions



This position will be remote in the US, ideally based near Los Angeles or New York. 


Travel:   25% - 50%





The estimated base salary range for this position: $95,600.00 - $141,900.00. This position is also eligible to earn additional commission-based compensation pursuant to an established 60/40 commission sales plan.  Actual salary range is based on the regional labor market of the role in the geography in which the position is located based on the requirements of the job and your skills.  This posted salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, and Seagate reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
