About the role - you will:

Play a pivotal role in driving our growth with our key channel partners in the Media & Entertainment vertical, across the United States. You will be responsible for driving business with our existing channel partners, as well as prospecting and developing business with new strategic Value-Added Resellers. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth, a competitive compensation structure, and the chance to represent a respected industry leader.  

 

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience managing channel partners in the Media & Entertainment Industry selling Enterprise solutions ranging from Storage, Software to Cloud. Experience in selling SaaS/Consumption based solutions is a plus.  The successful candidate will be customer obsessed, a creative thinker with a passion for success and is team centric.  

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Channel Management: Work with Value-Added Reseller partners working in the Media & Entertainment vertical to grow our Enterprise Data Systems and Lyve services & solutions business
  • Customer Acquisition: Identify potential customers and develop strategy and execute to acquire new business accounts
  • Quota Achievement: Meet and exceed sales targets consistently
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain an organized sales pipeline, track progress and update sales leadership periodically. Build territory and account plans. Develop and deliver proposals that address customers’ business and technical needs
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings and market conditions to expand business
  • Relationship Management: Establish and maintain relationships with key decision makers to generate referrals and repeat business
  • Cross Group Collaboration: Engage across Seagate sales teams and functional areas as an internal partner

Your experience includes:

  • Selling solutions that require a consultative, solution-based approach, in the Media & Entertainment Industry
  • Proven track record of successfully driving business with Value-Added Resellers and Distributors operating in the Media & Entertainment vertical
  • Excellent Demand Generation skills with the ability and passion for closing new business
  • Previous Sales Methodology training (i.e., MEDDIC, Command of the Message, SPIN, Challenger)
  • Storage, SaaS, Cloud, Services
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent skills and experience

Location:

Location: Remote - Southern California; #LI-Remote United States

 

The estimated base salary range for this position is $98,000 - $146,000. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.


This position is also eligible to earn additional commission-based (60/40 plan) compensation pursuant to an established commission sales plan. Actual commission-based compensation will be based on performance and the eligible target incentive, as addressed in the applicable plan, all of which is subject to change.
