About our group:

The Edge Datacenter Marketing group is responsible for enabling a successful Go-To-Market motion, with key focus placed on customer acquisition, revenue growth, and profitability across the entire portfolio. This team works cross-functionally to define both current and future business strategies, setting the direction for market leadership across all Edge Datacenter verticals which span our Exos Enterprise, Ironwolf NAS, and Skyhawk Video product lines.

About the role - you will:

As a Product Marketing lead within this team your primary responsibility will be to develop robust product launch plans and launch products into the market. This role requires quick information processing and decision-making skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with others. You will be part of a core team, interacting with creative services, vertical segment leaders, channel marketers, operations, engineering, technical marketing and customer care. You will own the product marketing activities as well as be the voice of the product for Edge Data Center Devices.

 

 

Requirements and Scope

Product Positioning: Expertise in developing and implementing product positioning strategies to differentiate products in the market.

Market Research: Ability to conduct thorough market research to understand consumer needs and preferences.

Brand Management: Skilled at managing and enhancing the brand image through effective marketing campaigns.

Campaign Management: Experience planning, executing, and optimizing marketing campaigns to drive product awareness, enable demand generation and increase sales.

Storytelling: Ability to tell compelling stories about the product to engage customers and stakeholders.

Creative Direction: Experience creating and providing creative direction for marketing materials, including product guides and product shots, web pages, packaging and more.

Customer Insights: Proficiency gathering and analyzing customer insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.

Communication Skills: Be able to convey complex ideas in a simple way and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the core product vision is understood and supported.

Strategic Thinking: Skill required to develop and executing strategic plans for product success.

About you:

• Strong presentation skills and a passion for crafting compelling storylines.

• A sense of humor, the ability to have fun in your role and collaborate with a broad team.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite Applications, CoPilot experience is a plus.

Your experience includes:

• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud is a bonus but not required.

• Experience with visual mock up’s & video creation is a bonus but not required.

• Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing or equivalent experience; a Master's degree is a plus.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $137,000 - $200,000. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
