Reporting directly to the SVP Investor Relations, Capital Markets, this group collaborates with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to maintain Seagate’s leadership in the data storage industry.

About the role - you will:

 

  • Develop and articulate a strategic blueprint that outlines Seagate’s long-term vision, growth priorities, and investment framework.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including industry analysts, investment banking, and technology partners, to gather insights and validate strategic assumptions.
  • Lead the company’s strategic planning process, ensuring cross-functional alignment across technology teams, business units, manufacturing, and corporate development.
  • Drive the integration of strategic priorities into operational plans and support the development and tracking of objectives and key results.
  • Conduct market research and analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
  • Assist the corporate development team with financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence for investment opportunities and partnerships.
  • Foster a high-performing team culture by managing, mentoring, and recruiting top talent.
  • Exemplify Seagate’s core values to inspire collaboration, accountability, and excellence across the organization.

About you:

Your experience includes:

 

  • 5+ years in corporate strategy, management consulting, or a related field, with a strong focus on the technology sector.
  • Proven success in managing cross-functional teams and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and emerging trends in the technology sector.
  • Synthesizing complex information into actionable strategies.


You might also have:

  • Experience in data center architecture, data storage, or adjacent markets.
  • Prefer large enterprise-level corporate strategy development experience.
  • Prefer corporate strategy experience at a global tech manufacturing company with 10,000+ employees.
  • An MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
  • A technical undergraduate degree (e.g., engineering, computer science).
  • A background in advanced technology or engineering.

 

Location:


The estimated base salary range for this position is $194,500 - $288,700. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training
