About the role - you will:

As a Sr. Cloud Sales Representative, you will lead Seagate’s engagement with a major CSP, owning the strategic account relationship and driving long-term revenue and margin growth. This is a customer-facing role requiring leadership, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration.

Strategic Account Leadership

  • Serve as the leader and subject matter expert for the account, recognized internally and externally for your domain expertise.
  • Develop and maintain a rolling multi-year Strategic Account Plan, aligning Seagate’s objectives with the customer’s roadmap.
  • Build and scale a comprehensive relationship map across the customer’s ecosystem, enhancing influence and engagement.
  • Act as the trusted advisor to the customer, shaping strategic decisions and guiding internal alignment across Seagate.

Customer Engagement & Business Insight

  • Maintain deep understanding of the customer’s business, including TAM, operational priorities, decision-making structure, and competitive landscape.
  • Anticipate customer needs and proactively address challenges before they impact outcomes.
  • Lead strategic initiatives that strengthen Seagate’s partnership and long-term positioning.

Sales Execution & Deal Management

  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle, including forecasting, pricing, contract negotiation, supply planning, and revenue execution.
  • Govern internal and external communications related to the account, ensuring clarity and consistency.
  • Resolve escalations effectively, driving toward mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Negotiate strategic win-win agreements that deliver value to both Seagate and the customer.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with technical, marketing, operations, legal, and finance teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Host and lead customer meetings, including pre-briefs and after-action reviews to ensure alignment and accountability.
  • Innovate and implement process improvements that enhance team efficiency and customer responsiveness.

Operational Excellence

  • Drive in-quarter execution to meet revenue and margin targets.
  • Orchestrate co-planning with the customer. Align customer planning with Seagate’s product lifecycle, supply/demand, and long-term agreements.
  • Represent Seagate’s core values of innovation, inclusion, and integrity in all engagements.

About you:

  • Experience in strategic account management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Your experience includes:

  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, services, and market dynamics.

Location:

Location: Remote United States; #LI-Remote United States; Candidates preferred in the Seattle, WA and Austin, TX Region

 

Travel as needed to meet customer demands.

 

The estimated base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $224,000. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.


This position is also eligible to earn additional commission-based (70/30 plan) compensation pursuant to an established commission sales plan. Actual commission-based compensation will be based on performance and the eligible target incentive, as addressed in the applicable plan, all of which is subject to change.
