Our focus is on measuring critical dimensions and nanoscale head overcoat (HOC) film thickness of Slider components used in HDDs. We utilize advanced physical-chemical characteristic technologies such as Ellipsometry, n&k spectrophotometer, XRF to ensure precision and quality
About the role - you will:
Being responsible for the head overcoat metrology technical, maintenance, configuration, qualification, process monitoring and process development Work in developing new head overcoat metrology techniques to align with the products requirements or technology roadmap requirements either from the existing process or new equipment / process Being monitored and performing reporting the head overcoat metrology performance such as repeatability, tool matching performance, measurement quality data, statistical process control to obtain the best metrology in Slider operation Collaborate with cross-functional team to work in engineering and manufacturing solutions in the head overcoat process Perform complicated data analysis and complex engineering evaluation / solution Support organizational goals in achieving OKR and total customer satisfaction Supervise technicians on the responsible metrology’s technical knowledge
About you:
Excellent teamwork, leadership and coachability Capable of communication and presentation in complex technical knowledge with a cross-functional team Excellent interpersonal, planning, organization and team skills, training and presentation skills Ability to effectively plan, control, and take responsibility for business function outcomes Able to prioritize multiple tasks, manage conflicting deadlines, and work effectively in a dynamic environment Coding or computer algorithm programming is an asset, the AI/ML analytic related capability is preferable Goodin English communication (Listening, Speaking, Writing, Reading)
Your experience includes:
Knowledge of general Physical-Chemical Metrology, concept, critical and important Having a good understanding of the Hard Disk Drives manufacturing process or experience in Slider Engineering and Slider manufacturing is preferable Knowledge in Mechanical / Electrical components, particularly with metrology equipment Knowledge in Process Monitoring or Statistical Process Control Computer skills (Microsoft excel, word, power point) and the ability to learn new job-related software, AI/ML Strong verbal and written communication
