Sr Staff Program/Project Manager, Software Engineering

About our group:

Our team is seeking an experienced Release Manager, Software Engineering to join our team and manage the delivery of multiple projects through their entire lifecycle. The perfect candidate not only has thorough knowledge of technologies used, their dependencies, and the processes to set up, manage, and control to ensure consistent releases of the product.

About the role - you will:

  • Work with scrum masters to set up and execute a comprehensive release management plan
  • Design, adopt, execute, and continuously improve a release management plan
  • Work with the various stakeholders for coordinating the releases
  • Work closely with software development leads and product management to ensure alignment of scope and timeline
  • Collaborate with product management teams to ensure we're building the best products
  • Work with DevOps to ensure continuous improvement of processes and automation of release management
  • Author, review, and publish release management information
  • Balance resources, requirements, and complexity
  • Manage the deployment of applications to Dev, QA, Production environments
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by Leadership

About you:

  • Familiarity with the cloud industry is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience in the areas such as Cloud Native Design Patterns, Microservices, or
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit and manage technical teams, including performance management
  • Passionate about technology and the possibilities that it opens up for users of our systems
  • Forever student – someone who loves always learning
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Location:

Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations. Spread over three sites, it is easily accessible via bus or from the MRT Station, with many employees taking mass-transportation to work. Ample free on-site parking is also available.
