About our group:

The Recording Media Operation Media Equipment Engineering team are a team of professional Engineers working on developing various customized media processing equipment used in high volume media manufacturing. Our mission is to works on equipment enhancements to meet new processes needs, continuous improvements to improve product quality, yield and develop new technologies. We have embraced I4.0 technology and the team is continuously working on problem solving on manufacturing equipment and process     

About the role - you will:

  • You will be working with Staff and Senior Engineers
  • Work on projects related to Backend Equipment used in Media manufacturing  
  • Machine setup and Machine qualification to meet media process for production
  • Enhance and upgrade equipment as part of continuous improvement activity
  • Propagate upgrades across all similar equipment
  • Trouble shoot equipment problems
  • Opportunity for Lifelong learning and Innovate new ideas.     

About you:

  • Are motivated and have keen interest working on high volume manufacturing equipment
  • Able to understand basic components, terminology, mechanical / electrical drawings, of equipment

Your experience includes:

  • Hands on experience working on any manufacturing equipment at least about 5 years
  • Hands on experience using MS office, Computer literate.
  • Experience or Knowledge on software programming using C, C+, or any other programming will be advantage.

Location:

Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations. Spread over three sites, it is easily accessible via bus or from the MRT Station, with many employees taking mass transportation to work.
