About our group:

Recording Media Organization (RMO) RPE group is to provide reliable component media electrical testing (VTS) for factory daily production and Launch new media development.  The team also provides technical solutions to testing improvement and new metrology development to enhance test data accuracy.Close collaboration with Fremont test group and Sputter process group is expected.  Primary metrics are accurate and timely VTS data for media performance assessment and minimum sputter machine downtime.  

About the role - you will:

  • Assist Lead Equipment engineer to upgrade new testers
  • Conduct gauge R&R on new testers  
  • Perform simple tester maintenance and trouble shooting
  • Develop/work with Fremont Test group to implement new test changes  
  • Provide tester support for evaluations    
  • Able to read engineering drawings 
  • Work in cleanroom environment
  • Able to handle and assemble together delicate small parts onto testers    

About you:

  • Team player and self-motivated 
  • Proficient in English speaking and writing  
  • Strong ability in problem identification and solution

Your experience includes:

  • Basic hands on equipment or tester assembly capability
  • Able to read technical drawings 

Location:

Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations. Spread over three sites, it is easily accessible via bus or from the MRT Station, with many employees taking mass transportation to work.
