About our group:

Contamination control engineering aims to ensure there is sufficient level of cleanliness in a controlled environment. We are involved with certain strategic planning and management of equipment systems and processes to ensure integrity of cleanroom is maintained and mitigate potential excursions.

About the role - you will:

  • Support contamination control activities in cleanroom manufacturing environments.
  • Conduct cleanroom audits and monitor contamination metrics (particle, TOC, CTQ).
  • Investigate contamination-related defects and yield issues through data collection and root cause analysis.
  • Drive contamination reduction and process improvement projects.
  • Provide technical support for substrate processes, including kitting, packaging, reclaim operations, and inspections.
  • Troubleshoot process issues affecting quality, yield, and stability.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, cleanroom standards, and safety requirements.
  • Support training and guide technicians/operators on contamination control best practices.

About you:

  • Diploma / Higher NITEC in Engineering or related discipline.
  • 5–10 years of experience in semiconductor, HDD, electronics, or cleanroom manufacturing environments.
  • Hands-on experience in contamination control, process troubleshooting, and manufacturing operations.
  • Familiar with root cause analysis tools such as 5 Why, 8D, FMEA, or Fishbone.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Your experience includes:

  • Experience in yield improvement, defect reduction, and process optimization.
  • Proficient in data analysis using Excel, JMP, Minitab, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of SPC, DOE, and statistical analysis.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
