About our group:

The Quality Assurance team primary job responsibilities are performing Quality functions by collecting and testing of all platforms of outgoing finished media daily, as well as other line audits/inspections to ensure compliance to Procedures or Standards. Work effectively and efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
Our team drives Product Quality monitoring, improvements, DOE studies, and qualification activities to support both high volume manufacturing and new product introduction (NPI).

About the role - you will:

•    Collect/prepare daily Media samples for Candela tests
•    Perform inspection, testing of outgoing Media to meet quality standards
•    Carry out production line audits
•    Analyze test data and perform failure analysis/quarantine when needed
•    Assist in Equipment Calibrations / iCaQ administration
•    Work with cross functional teams to drive Finished Media Quality improvement, yield improvement, and scrap reduction.
•    Support Engineering trials, Qualification builds, and Process/Equipment change implementations.

About you:

•    Hands on, mechanically inclined, and proactive in issue identification.
•    Strong sense of ownership, discipline, and safety awareness.
•    Able to follow structured procedures and communicate clearly with engineers.
•    Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment.
•    Willing to work in rotating shifts when required.
•    A good team player with positive attitude and self-initiative

Your experience includes:

  • Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation, or related fields.
  • Experience in Quality functions, Manufacturing operations, equipment support, or technical maintenance.
  • ISO9K documentation
  • Audits/inspections compliance with procedures or standards.
  • Exposure to JMP/Minitab, data analytics tools, or Python for statistical analysis.
  • Experience with Media, HDD, semiconductor, or electronics assembly environments.
  • Familiarity with DOE, 5S, or continuous improvement activities.
