The Program & Product Management organization at Seagate Singapore (W1) provides cross‑functional leadership across the full product lifecycle—from NPI through mass production, sustaining, and product retirement. The team ensures that product introductions, transitions, and ongoing manufacturing align with Seagate’s cost, quality, delivery, and technology objectives.

About the role - you will:

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Business, or related fields.
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for all phases of in‑house or outsourced manufacturing for assigned product(s) or product lines.
  • Act as the central interface across Design, Manufacturing, Quality, Test, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to drive seamless product lifecycle execution—from NPI build readiness through volume stability and end‑of‑life.
  • Oversee manufacturing readiness, ensuring product builds meet specifications, reliability, quality targets, and customer requirements.
  • Formulate and execute mid‑ and long‑term production plans, including cost‑reduction initiatives, yield improvement strategies, and process optimization roadmaps.
  • Lead cross‑functional program reviews, ensure risk identification and mitigation, and align stakeholders on deliverables and timelines.
  • Drive operational excellence through structured problem‑solving, metrics management, data‑driven insights, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage escalations related to product performance, quality events, manufacturing issues, or supply disruptions.
  • Select, develop, and evaluate program managers or cross‑functional contributors to ensure strong execution capability.
  • Collaborate with global product teams to support customer engagements, roadmap alignment, and technology readiness.

About you:

 

  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence and align cross‑functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing operations, NPI processes, product lifecycle management, and quality systems.
  • Highly analytical, structured, and able to drive clarity in complex, ambiguous situations.
  • Comfortable leading discussions at both strategic and tactical levels.
  • Open to travel to Thailand for on-job-training for 1 month.

Your experience includes:

 

  • 10+ years of experience in program management, product management, manufacturing engineering, or operations.
  • Demonstrated success managing cross‑functional programs from NPI through volume manufacturing.
  • Experience in high‑volume production environments—preferably HDD, semiconductors, or precision‑manufacturing.
  • Strong background in cost management, yield improvement, and operational performance.
  • PMP, Agile, or program‑management certification.
  • Experience working with ODM/CM partners or managing outsourced manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with PLM, MES, ERP, and program‑tracking tools.
