About our group:

The Recording Media Organization (RMO) IT team supports manufacturing operations through reliable, secure, and scalable digital solutions. We partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Process Owners, and global IT teams to sustain and enhance the Process Automation Resource Information System (PARIS) Suite.
The PARIS Suite supports equipment state tracking, preventive maintenance, checklists, work orders, spare parts, calibration, consumables, equipment assets, laboratory requests, metrology data, and operational reporting. Our group is also advancing application modernization, automation, analytics, and generative AI capabilities to improve manufacturing productivity, system maintainability, and user experience.

About the role - you will:

Provide day-to-day functional and technical support for assigned PARIS Suite applications used by RMO operations.
Investigate application incidents, analyze logs and data, coordinate root cause analysis, and drive issues through resolution with the relevant support and development teams.
Gather, clarify, and document business requirements, process flows, functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and implementation dependencies.
Coordinate enhancement requests, defect remediation, configuration changes, and releases across users, Process Owners, developers, infrastructure teams, and support partners.
Plan and execute system, regression, and user acceptance testing, maintain test evidence, and track defects through closure.
Support production deployments, cutover validation, post-deployment monitoring, and operational handover in accordance with IT governance and change-management requirements.
Maintain PARIS Suite configurations and master data in partnership with authorized Process Owners and application administrators.
Prepare and maintain business requirements documents, system procedures, knowledge-transfer guides, troubleshooting references, user guides, and release communications.
Analyze recurring incidents and operational pain points, and recommend corrective actions, preventive controls, automation opportunities, or process improvements.
Support the modernization of legacy PARIS applications, including improvements to user experience, security, maintainability, integration, and alignment with approved enterprise technology standards.
Contribute to analytics, automation, intelligent workflow, and generative AI initiatives that improve manufacturing decision support and reduce manual effort.
Collaborate with global RMO sites and IT teams to promote common solutions, consistent processes, knowledge sharing, and timely escalation.
Participate in planned after-hours support, maintenance, deployment, or incident-response activities when required to support manufacturing operations.

About you:

Demonstrate strong analytical and structured problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to manage complex issues and multiple priorities.
Show a customer-focused mindset with ownership, accountability, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across different functions, sites, and organizational levels.
Work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional and global teams.
Have a practical understanding of artificial intelligence and generative AI concepts and can identify suitable manufacturing and operational use cases.
Use AI-assisted tools responsibly for requirements analysis, documentation, troubleshooting, knowledge retrieval, and workflow improvement while complying with applicable data security and governance requirements.

Your experience includes:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline, together with relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience providing functional or technical support for business-critical applications.
Experience supporting requirements gathering, functional analysis, testing, deployment, documentation, incident resolution, and continuous improvement activities.
Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders, Process Owners, application teams, infrastructure teams, and support partners.
Experience supporting manufacturing, equipment, maintenance, calibration, quality, or operational applications is preferred.
Exposure to application modernization, automation, analytics, intelligent workflows, or generative AI use cases is preferred.
