The Operation and Supply PCBA Planning team supports our printed circuit board assembly operations by ensuring flow of materials, production schedules, and capacity are aligned to meet business demand. The team manages end to end planning activities from forecasting and supplier coordination to build readiness, scheduling, and risk mitigation. Working closely with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics, and Program Management, the team ensures smooth operations in a fast-moving hardware environment. Our work strengthens supply chain resilience, supports on time delivery, and contributes to product quality and customer satisfaction. About the role - you will:
As a Planning Process & Automation Intern, you will have the unique opportunities to work at the intersection of supply chain strategy, operational execution, and technical manufacturing processes. You will gain exposure to advanced production technologies, complex global sourcing networks, and dynamic problem-solving scenarios that shape the company’s ability to scale efficiently and competitively. You will support our Planning team in improving and automating day-to-day planning workflows. You will work closely with planners to streamline manual processes, enhance data accuracy, and develop automated tools for reporting, scenario simulation, and components exposure tracking. Planning Process Automation: Analyze current demand and supply planning workflows and identify opportunities for automation. Develop automated tools/templates to replace manual processes using Excel, Power Query, Power Pivot, VBA, Python, or Power BI. Report Development & Optimization: Automate recurring planning reports such as demand-supply spreadsheets, daily/weekly inventory tracking reports, BOM component comparison reports, and exposure and shortage risk reports. Improve data refresh efficiency and reduce manual data consolidation time. Scenario & Simulation Tools: Build “What-If” analysis models to support supply allocation changes, forecast swings, component constraints, and production plan alternatives. Support planners in modeling different planning scenarios for faster decision-making. Data Management & Quality: Consolidate data from multiple sources and formats. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and traceability in all generated reports. Work with the team to improve data structures and planning templates. Collaboration & Support: Work with cross-functional teams such as Supply Chain, Operations, and Procurement as needed. Present findings, dashboards, and automated tools to stakeholders. Provide documentation and basic training so users can adopt your solutions effectively.
About you:
We’re looking for someone who enjoys problem-solving, building automated solutions, and working with complex data sets to improve business productivity. Strong in analytical and problem-solving skills. Able to translate business needs into practical solutions and tools. Good at communication and attention to detail. Self-driven, willing to learn, and able to work independently.
Your experience includes:
Currently pursuing Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Data Analytics / Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related fields. Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables, Power Query, basic macros). Experienced with at least one of the following: Python (pandas, openpyxl), Power BI, SQL, VBA. Knowledge of supply/demand planning processes is an advantage. Experience building dashboards or automation scripts. Familiarity with ERP or planning systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
