About the role - you will:

 

 

  • Lead and responsible for all aspects of the production process, including equipment set-up and maintenance, production/fabrication, test, production training, and machine/tool making with higher independence.
  • Manage manpower deployment and activities in production area(s) including setting up and operating a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the production of the company's product.
  • Perform complex electrical tasks as part of the assembly process, contributing to the production of cutting-edge products.
  • Able to conduct On-The-Job training for new hires and existing operators.
  • Act as line trainer, ensuring adherence to Work Instructions and quality standards.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Planning teams to resolve issues.
  • Support process and manufacturing improvement, participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support reporting, tracking, and escalation of key operational metrics.
  • Perform process related to Labelling, Packing & Palletizing of Parts, Boxes, Pallet, etc.
  • Perform Handling/ Shifting of Parts/ Equipment involving the use of lifting equipment.

About you:

 

  • Proven ability to lead and coordinate a small team in the production environment.
  • Good understanding in English (reading and understanding Work Instructions).
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Be adaptable and willing to take on other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
  • Physically able to carry work items up to 3 kg.
  • Able to stand and walk for extended hours (4 to 7 hours).
  • Willing to work 12-hrs shift.
  • Prepared to work on Weekends and Public Holidays.
  • Shift Pattern: Work 3 days, Rest 2 days or Work 2 days, Rest 3 days (3-2-2-3 Work Pattern)
  • Day Shift : 7.30am – 7.45pm
  • Night Shift : 7.30pm – 7.45am
  • Meal & Rest Break: 45 mins & 30 mins

Note: For packing & unpacking MS role, the job scope specifically includes more intensive packing, unpacking, and material movement duties. The incumbent must be able to carry items up to 15 kg, and perform manual handling tasks (5–15 kg) following safety guidelines.

 

Your experience includes:

 

  • Prior experiences in the Back-End manufacturing industry an advantage.
  • Prior experience as a senior operator, trainer, line leader or cell lead.
  • Minimum > 6 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
