The Warehousing team within the Logistics organization is responsible for managing storage, inventory control, and distribution processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations. This role focuses on optimizing warehouse performance, implementing best practices, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to support business objectives through adopting Automation and AI technologies.

 

We are seeking a highly motivated Logistics Manager – Warehousing to oversee and optimize warehouse operations. This role is critical in ensuring efficient storage, inventory control, and distribution processes while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.

About the role - you will:

 

  • You will lead a team, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to support business objectives
  • Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and outbound shipments
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Lead and develop 3PL warehouse staff through training, coaching, and performance evaluations
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs to improve warehouse efficiency, accuracy, and productivity
  • Optimize space utilization and material handling processes to reduce costs and improve throughput
  • Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and production teams to ensure timely material availability
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and process enhancements
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts and audits
  • Manage vendor relationships for warehouse services and equipment
  • Prepare and present reports on warehouse performance and recommend improvements
  • Lead implementation of automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS) to improve space utilization and throughput
  • Oversee deployment and optimization of Warehouse Management System (WMS) automation modules, including real-time inventory tracking and automated replenishment
  • Develop SOPs for automated workflows, including exception handling and system downtime recovery processes

About you:

 

  • Familiarity with automation technologies and warehouse optimization tools
  • Good knowledge of safety and compliance standards
  • Excellent knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related technologies
  • Ability to apply lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Excellent organizational, leadership and communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

Your experience includes:

 

  • At least 5 or more years of experience in warehouse or logistics management and in people management capacity
  • Application of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Managing large-scale warehouse operations
  • Proven hands-on application in implementing warehouse automation technologies, such as Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS), robotics, or Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs)
  • Hands-on expertise with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) automation modules, including integration with ERP and process optimization for automated workflows

Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations. Spread over three sites, it is easily accessible via bus or from the MRT Station, with many employees taking mass transportation to work.
