The Global Trust and Security team’s Regional Security Operations Centre (RSOC) serves as the central hub for physical security operations across the Asia Pacific region. We focus on protecting people, assets, and business operations through real‑time monitoring, effective incident response, and actionable intelligence.

Our team operates 24/7 using advanced security technologies and well‑defined processes. We work closely with cross‑functional partners such as Facilities, HR, EHS, IT, and external security vendors to ensure a safe, resilient, and secure environment for all employees.

What We Do

  • Monitor CCTV, access control systems, alarms, and regional security dashboards
  • Respond to security incidents, coordinate onsite personnel, and ensure proper escalation
  • Provide regional threat intelligence and travel safety advisories
  • Act as the communication centre during emergencies and crisis situations
  • Maintain system health and support compliance with global security standards
  • Drive continuous improvement across security operations in APAC

About the role - you will:

As a Global Trust and Security RSOC Intern, you will support the team by designing, enhancing, and implementing digital solutions that streamline security operations across the Asia Pacific region. This role provides practical exposure to the intersection of technology and security, with a primary focus on improving our Incident Reporting application through the Microsoft Power Platform. You will:

  • Work closely with the RSOC team to understand project requirements, workflows, and user needs
  • Design and develop applications using Microsoft Power Apps, Power BI, and AI-driven tools (e.g., Copilot)
  • Enhance the Incident Reporting application for APAC security operations
  • Conduct testing, troubleshoot issues, and optimise application performance
  • Create documentation, user guides, and training materials for operational teams
  • Assist with other technology‑related or security‑related projects as required
  • Explore possibilities for image analytics integration to support incident insights

About you:

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Curious, motivated, and passionate about applying technology to real‑world challenges
  • A strong problem‑solver with excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable communicating with teammates and stakeholders
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Eager to learn, ask questions, and take ownership of tasks
  • Able to commit to a full‑time internship from May to December

Your experience includes:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Familiarity or hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power Apps & Power BI & AI‑driven tools, such as Microsoft Copilot
  • Basic understanding of app development concepts or prior project experience
  • Knowledge of additional Power Platform tools (e.g., Power Automate) is a plus
  • Interest or foundational understanding of security operations, incident reporting, or operational workflows is an advantage

Location:

Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations. Spread over three sites, it is easily accessible via bus or from the MRT Station, with many employees taking mass transportation to work.
