Finance Operations Analyst

Seagate’s Finance Department is seeking a Finance Analyst to support Factory Operations. This role partners closely with Operations and cross‑functional stakeholders to manage financial performance in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, sound business acumen, and a keen interest in leveraging software and technology to enhance finance processes, controls, and decision‑making. About the role - you will:

This role is focused on financial planning, performance management, costing and fixed asset management to support Factory Operations. You will work closely with operational leaders to provide timely insights, ensure financial discipline, and continuously improve finance processes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Consolidate and analyse weekly financial outlooks and actual results, providing clear variance analysis, insights, and mitigation actions
• Perform quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes, including assumptions alignment with business partners
• Organize month‑end close activities and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Coordinate and execute inventory costing & fixed asset activities
• Support compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and SOX requirements
• Monitor and manage operational spending, identifying cost risks & opportunities, and enable timely & relevant decision making through data-driven analysis
• Drive finance process improvements, including the use of software, automation, and analytics tools
• Support ad-hoc financial analysis and cross‑functional initiatives as assigned

About you:

Your experience includes:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• At least 2 years of accounting and/or finance experience preferred
