About our group:

 

Sputter Failure Analysis group plays a pivotal role in analyzing manufacturing data to identify trends, uncovering the root cause for low yield and failure mechanism, and drive continuous yield improvements and defect reductions.

About the role - you will:

 

  • Responsible for daily product yield/defects monitoring and investigate root causes of yield variations.
  • Perform physical failure analysis to identify source of defects.
  • Collaborate with cross functional team including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance to investigate and address yield/defect related issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiative to enhance product yield and quality.
  • Support process engineering evaluations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of yield improvement initiatives.
  • Dive deep into media test data to identify yield issue through data analysis.
  • Conduct statistical analysis and use data visualization techniques to present findings and recommendation to stakeholders.

About you:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related disciplines.
  • Familiar with data analysis/visualization using tools like excel, JMP, tableau etc.
  • Proficient in statistical analysis tools and technique is an added advantage.
  • Basic programming knowledge for Python / mySQL.

Your experience includes:

 

  • Knowledge of statistics & data analysis. 
  • Familiar with physics & chemistry is an added advantage.
