Through the EHS programs that are implemented throughout our organization, we can be assured that our employees and contractors work safely and integrate EHS procedures and practices into daily work activities, projects, and programs.

About the role - you will:

As a EHS Intern, work closely with seasonal EHS Engineers and under EHS Manager guidance.

  • Gain hands-on experience to review and create new training materials via Articulate 360 software.
  • EHS Report Preparation: Learn various safety report preparation techniques tailored to different requirement and standard.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with teams from Facilities, Manufacturing, other departments

What Will You Learn and Embark on at the Start?

  • You will start by understanding the foundational aspects of our EHS requirement and process flow of working,
  • Initial tasks will focus on supporting ongoing projects and learning our internal processes and methodologies.

 

What You Would Ultimately Be Able to Be Proficient In?

  • Gain skills in interdisciplinary collaboration, contributing to larger projects while coordinating with different teams representing EHS.
  • Learn and understanding the role of a Safety Officer and Fire Safety Manager.

About you:

We're looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated intern who can thrive in a dynamic environment.

  • Adaptability: The ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment and take on new challenges.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to effectively convey engineering and technical concepts to both internal and external partners.
  • Team Player: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional and international teams.
  • Able to commit full time semester internship (May/Jul - Dec)

Your experience includes:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree Workplace Safety in Engineering.
  • Knowledge and good understanding of engineering or safety in a manufacturing setting.

Location:

Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations. Spread over three sites, it is easily accessible via bus or from the MRT Station, with many employees taking mass transportation to work. Here at work, you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks at our onsite canteen and coffee shop. We offer a range of facilities including an in-house gym and dance studio, as well as after-work badminton and table tennis competitions. On-site celebrations and community volunteer opportunities also abound.
