About our group:

Our team is responsible for the software engineering of MDSWC and ComET platforms. We provide technical support for launch media and new product builds during the launch phase, and ensure customer product quality with a focus on media servo pattern integrity and test quality performance.

About the role - you will:

  • You will be responsible for managing launch builds, supporting launch media, new product introductions, and evaluating new feature implementations.
  • You will serve as a day-shift support staff, handling operational tasks to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Preparing and maintaining the Daily Yield Report, Shift Status Report, and SMS Report, as well as monitoring and driving improvements in MDSWC yield, insertion performance, and DMR reduction.
  • Assist and support team engineers in resolving product-related technical issues and conducting engineering evaluations.
  • Closely monitor processes to ensure strict adherence to established procedures and standards.
  • You will be expected to create detailed and comprehensive passdown reports to ensure seamless continuity across working shifts.

About you:

  • Possess a Diploma in any Engineering discipline.
  • Self-motivated and results oriented mentality
  • Works well in a dynamic team environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Are prepared to work in a Cleanroom Environment
  • Willing to work on 12hr (7.45am to 7.30pm) Day shift pattern

Your experience includes:

  • Relevant experience in the manufacturing industry will be an added advantage
  • Experience in troubleshooting and conducting failure analysis will be an added advantage

Location:

Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations. Spread over three sites, it is easily accessible via bus or from the MRT Station, with many employees taking mass transportation to work.
