About our group:

Launch HAMR VTS lab is responsible for Seagate media electrical testing, failure analysis and characterization.   You are required to provide support for daily VTS testing on sample disks submitted to the lab,   generate data,   analyze simple electrical data and support engineers in running evaluations

About the role - you will:

  • Handle loading of test heads, media and operate VTS testers.      
  • Perform 1st level analysis of electrical data,   ensure test repeatability for measurement accuracy and compiling report before publishing the relevant and accurate data to Fremont and Woodlands team. 
  • Upload test data to the server. 
  • Work closely with engineers for job priority and basic tester trouble shooting.
  • Ensure timeliness of the test results

About you:

  • Possess a Diploma in any Engineering discipline.
  • Self-motivated and results oriented mentality
  • Works well in a dynamic team environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Are prepared to work in a Cleanroom Environment
  • Willing to work on 12hr (7.30pm to 7.45am) night shift pattern

Your experience includes:

  • Relevant experience in the manufacturing industry will be an added advantage

Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations. Spread over three sites, it is easily accessible via bus or from the MRT Station, with many employees taking mass transportation to work.
