About our group:

Guzik Lab is a department that uses VXI Test System  (VTS) and Reduced Foot Print (RFS) as a component level of electrical tester designed to test the electrical efficiency of the magnetic media and head. We will provide Process Feedback and Design Feedback during development/Launch and aid drive development by characterizing distribution and developing transfer function. In additional, we will test Failure Analysis tool (electrical HDD failures only) and screen defects (electrical only) related to magnetic sputtering process.

About the role - you will:

  • Perform testing on hard disk media using automated test systems (VTS/RFS).
  • Analyse test data, monitor trends, and ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot tester issues and investigate performance failures.
  • Support engineers in evaluating test results and product performance.
  • Upload, track, and report testing data to support decision-making.
  • Monitor yield and parametric performance through routine production samples.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams on data discrepancies and issue resolution.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) and qualification activities.
  • Ensure smooth operation of testing equipment through regular monitoring and maintenance.

About you:

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Engineering related field.
  • Willing to work in a clean room environment.
  • Willing to work on 12 hours permanent night shift pattern.
  • Able to work overtime when required.

Your experience includes:

•    Knowledge in VBA excel.
•    2 years in machine troubleshooting.
•    Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
