About our group:

The MDW Line Support team is part of Seagate’s Preventive Maintenance organization, supporting MDW Automation and Servo‑Writer machines used in hard disk media manufacturing. Our team plays a critical role in ensuring stable equipment performance, consistent product quality, and reliable production output in a high‑volume manufacturing environment.

About the role - you will:

  • Support the MDW media production line, ensuring automation and servo‑writer machines operate in good condition and meet production output requirements.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to sustain machine quality and product quality.
  • Execute product software conversions in line with production requirements.
  • Work closely with Process Engineering to resolve yield‑related and software‑related issues.
  • Collaborate with other engineering and technical teams to support faulty machine recovery and troubleshooting activities

About you:

  • Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Self‑motivated with a positive and responsible working attitude.
  • Strong team player with good problem‑solving skills.
  • Willing to work in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.
  • Able to work 12‑hour night shift (7:30 PM to 7:45 AM)

Your experience includes:

  • Relevant experience in the manufacturing industry will be an added advantage

Location:

Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations. Spread over three sites, it is easily accessible via bus or from the MRT Station, with many employees taking mass-transportation to work. Ample free on-site parking is also available. We offer a range of facilities including an in-house gym and dance studio, as well as after-work badminton and table tennis competitions.
