About our group:

Seagate's Operations Quality & Analytics organization helps to protect and improve Seagate’s Total Customer Experience Develop, deploy, and sustain End-To-End Quality Analytics and Processes to provide trusted, actionable information enabling earlier detection and prevention of HDD and System issues. Drive In-Process Quality is a subgroup of OQ&A to protect HDD and System quality through in-process audits, monitoring material and process parameters, containing problematic parts, and ensuring the implementation and verification of corrective/preventive actions.

About the role - you will:

  • Be responsible for executing and monitor Backend Process Control to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
  • Lead and manage OBA (Out-of-Box Audit) quality control activities to ensure the protection of finished goods quality.
  • Control and manage SSO blocking and Stop-Pack actions to contain quality risks.
  • Maintain ESD certification and ESD control in accordance with applicable standards.
  • Apply ISO 9001 knowledge to support quality system compliance and audits.
  • Lead and support problem-solving activities using structured methodologies, including 8D.
  • Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, FA) to investigate issues and drive closure.
  • Control and manage ODT and ORT sampling plans.

About you:

  • Bachelor or higher in Engineering fields or equivalent engineering discipline.
  • Experience in the HDD industry, and/or Quality engineering.
  • Must be technical, creative, detail-oriented, and a strong team player.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability. Strong communications among multiple nations and cross functions, project management, good presentation skills.
  • Good command of English.

Your experience includes:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Knowledge in quality and reliability statistics.
  • Experience working in a multinational or large‑scale corporate environment.
