About our group:

Failure Analysis group plays a pivotal role in analyzing manufacturing data to identify trends, uncovering the root cause for low yield and failure mechanism, and drive continuous yield improvements and defect reductions.

About the role - you will:

  • Responsible for daily product yield/defects monitoring and investigate root causes of yield variations.
  • Perform physical failure analysis to identify source of defects.
  • Big data analysis is used to go along with physical FA to provide engineering insight       
  • Collaborate with cross functional team including engineering, manufacturing, and test & quality assurance to investigate and address yield/defect related issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiative to enhance product yield and quality.
  • Support multiple engineering improvement projects.
  • Conduct statistical analysis and use data visualization techniques to present findings and recommendation to stakeholders.

About you:

  • Enjoy working with large datasets and using data to tell a clear technical story.
  • Prefer analytical problem solving and cross‑functional collaboration over extensive hands‑on lab work.
  • Are detail‑oriented, self‑driven, and comfortable influencing decisions through data.

Your experience includes:

  • Good team player and self-motivated individual.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with people at all levels.
  • Familiar with data analysis, dealing with large data set
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to think analytically and creatively.
  • Resourceful, meticulous and good attention to details.
  • Ability to work independently.
