About our group:

The Contamination Control team plays a critical role in supporting manufacturing excellence by developing and maintaining contamination control programs that protect product quality, process stability, and operational efficiency.

Our work focuses on minimizing particulate and chemical contamination risks through effective cleanroom management, process controls, and compliance with industry standards. We collaborate closely with Quality, Production, Process Engineering, and Supplier Quality teams to ensure a clean and controlled manufacturing environment.

About the role - you will:

As a Contamination Control Engineer, you will drive contamination prevention and process improvement initiatives to support product quality and manufacturing performance.

  • Develop and implement contamination control strategies to maintain cleanroom, process, and equipment integrity.
  • Investigate contamination events, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor critical cleanroom environmental parameters, including air quality, water quality, particulate levels, and personnel practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate contamination control requirements into manufacturing and quality processes.
  • Conduct cleanroom audits, ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 14644), and deliver contamination control training.
  • Evaluate and improve contamination mitigation systems, including filtration, HVAC, material flow, and regulatory compliance reporting.

About you:

  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Your experience includes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Three or more years of experience in contamination control, cleanroom operations, or related manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of cleanroom classifications, particulate monitoring, and chemical contamination control methodologies.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements such as ISO, EU GMP, and IEST.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools such as Minitab, JMP, Tableau, or Excel.
  • Experience working with advanced contamination monitoring or mitigation technologies.

Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations. Spread over three sites, it is easily accessible via bus or from the MRT Station, with many employees taking mass transportation to work.
