About our group:

We are a team of Seagate Drive Factory MES (Manufacturing Execution System) developers based in China. Our team provides solutions including software architecture/design and application development. The applications and services are deployed in China, Thailand, Singapore and US

About the role - you will:

  • Work closely with our Factory MES development team to develop in-house applications and support worldwide users.
  • Participating in data-related technical issues.
  • Participating in software testing and function enhancement to ensure data accuracy and data quality, format verification etc.
  • Assist in the creation of technical documentation.

About you:

  • Degree in Compute Science, IT or similar field, Master’s is a plus.
  • Knowledge of programming language, Python or Java, Java is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Big Data ecosystem, including but not limited to technologies such as Apache Spark, Trino, K8S, Object Storage.
  • Hands-on experience of databases, understanding SQL or NoSQL databases.
  • Hands-on experience of web application development.

Your experience includes:

  • Understanding software testing processes and methods.
  • Good learning ability and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills in English.

Location:

Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations. Spread over three sites, it is easily accessible via bus or from the MRT Station, with many employees taking mass transportation to work.
