About our group:

We are a team of IT MES (Manufacturing Execution System) business analysts and developers based in Woodlands and Johor Bahru with a high emphasis on the solution design and development to support and improve the overall operational and functional efficiency of the RMO MES (Manufacturing Execution System). The RMO MES applications and services are deployed at reginal sites of Singapore, Malaysia and US.

About the role - you will:

  • Design and Development: Develop, construct, test, and maintain architectures, such as large-scale data processing systems and databases.
  • Data Pipeline Management: Design and implement data pipelines, automating and streamlining data collection, processing, and storage.
  • Data Modeling: Design data models and schemas to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of data.
  • Develop ETL Processes: Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for the ingestion and transformation of large datasets.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists and analysts to understand data needs and ensure that data systems align with analytical requirements.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data-related issues; optimize and improve data pipelines for faster query performance
  • Testing source code and debugging code.
  • Proper documentation of applications developed, including change management
  • Embrace SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) Methodology

About you:

  • Currently pursuing a Master in computer Engineering , Data Engineering or a related field.
  • Good mathematical and problem-solving skill
  • Good communication and team-working skills
  • Passionate and fully committed to the work

Your experience includes:

  • Hands on experience on writing SQL scripts
  • Hands on experience on Data Analytical tools like ETL, R Studio, Python/Java
  • Knowledge in Data Engineering
  • Knowledge of software design and programming principles
