About the role - you will:

As a Finance Analytics Intern, you will help build analytics, automation, and forecasting solutions that improve reporting accuracy, reduce manual work, and support better business decisions. You will gain hands-on experience with finance data, dashboards, workflow improvement, and stakeholder engagement:

  • Build dashboards, automation workflows, and analytics prototypes using Power BI, Tableau, KNIME, or similar tools.
  • Support forecasting, sensitivity analysis, or what-if modeling for business decisions.
  • Enhance and maintain finance dashboards, including data validation, user feedback, and reporting improvements.
  • Support data transformation and develop repeatable finance reporting workflows, with a pivot toward Power BI, including clear data preparation, checks, and documentation.
  • Track solution impact through time savings, error reduction, adoption, and process improvement.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand problems, define success criteria, and validate outcomes.
  • Join team sharing sessions that encourage open learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Your experience includes:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Finance, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Basic understanding of statistics, data analysis, forecasting, or trend analysis.
  • Interest in finance, supply chain, automation, dashboards, or business analytics.Experience with Power BI, Tableau, KNIME, or similar analytics and automation tools will be an advantage.
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel for analysis.
  • Basic Python knowledge.
  • Exposure to forecasting, scenario analysis, finance analytics, supply chain reporting, or dashboard development will be an advantage

Location:

Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations. Spread over three sites, it is easily accessible via bus or from the MRT Station, with many employees taking mass transportation to work.
