HR Total Rewards purpose is to attract, motivate and retain valued employees through compensation, benefits, wellbeing, performance, mobility and recognition utilizing the development of market competitive programs, methodologies, technologies, and effective communication strategies.

About the role - you will:

Total Rewards Partner Malaysia

  • Partner and Collaborate with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and Business Units (BUs) in Malaysia and other Asia Pacific Countries to develop, enhance and ensure consistent implementation of Total Rewards Policies and Programs.
  • Review, design and implement local compensation and benefits programs which meet employee needs and are cost effective, and manage programs including stakeholder management.
  • Provide specific insights and recommendations to manufacturing plants to ensure that their local application of compensation and benefits policies and programs are aligned with the overall company strategic objectives.
  • Analyze market data, identify trends, best practices and continuously improve our programs based on feedback and data.
  • Drive, transform and improve work processes and employee experience, preferably enabled with technology and analytics.
  • Responsible for Country-Audits action planning in relation to Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) and Pay Equity
  • Develop and deliver effective communication strategies to ensure employees understand and value the total rewards programs.
  • Support ad-hoc project work and provide leadership where necessary to enhance the effectiveness of the Total Rewards programs.

Wellbeing Asia

  • Part of the Global Wellbeing Team to represent Asia, ensuring that initiatives planned at the global level can meet the diverse needs of employees across different countries in Asia.
  • Plan and manage a comprehensive wellbeing calendar for Asia, focusing on mental and financial wellbeing pillars.
  • Collaborate with different stakeholders across Seagate to execute country wellbeing initiatives
  • Create and implement effective communication strategies to promote wellbeing initiatives in Asia, ensuring employees are informed and engaged.

 

Global Mobility Asia

 

  • Management of vendors to ensure effective management of immigration and mobility process
  • Coordinate with vendors: Liaise with external providers, such as relocation companies, to ensure seamless delivery of services. 
  • Stay current with industry trends: Participate in training, conferences, and networking events to stay informed about global mobility best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations: Stay up-to-date on immigration laws, tax regulations, and other relevant requirements. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders: Work with HR, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment and effective support for initiatives.
  • Develop and implement processes: Continuously evaluate and improve global mobility processes, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and assignee satisfaction.
  • Conduct needs assessments: Identify assignees' specific needs, such as housing, schooling, and language training.
  • Provide cultural and language support: Offer guidance on cultural adaptation, language training, and other support services.
  • Prepare reports and analytics: Provide insights on assignment trends, costs, and other key metrics.
  • Foster a positive experience: Ensure assignees have a positive experience, promoting engagement and retention.

About you:

  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for identifying and evaluating different approaches to define and resolve issues
  • Detailed oriented, analytical, able to work independently and high initiative.
  • Analytical with a strategic acumen to anticipate business needs.
  • Able to work with ambiguity and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills

Your experience includes:

  • Desired University degree with professional training, or similar qualifications. Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification preferred.
  • At least 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in Compensation and Benefits in a large business organization.
