Pricing Analyst

About our group:

Pricing Analyst would be part of APJ (APAC/JAPAN) Finance Pricing team and have an opportunity to influence increasing data storage requirements of customers in both B2C and B2B IT segments at a variety of channels ranging from Brick and Mortar/ E-commerce Platforms / Traditional IT Channels and Value Added IT Channels.

Pricing Analyst will hold a portfolio responsibility in some key geographies and verticals within APAC and Japan working with stakeholders to sustain successful execution while focusing finance goals, including revenue, share, pricing, and margin.

About the role - you will:

Be responsible for:

Business Operations

• Develop the cadence and process to in-quarter review and execution for APAC Distribution/Retail business

• Work with stakeholders on operational and business decisions/directions and establish action plan to meet business objectives
• Monitor, decide and communicate weekly/monthly business actions to countries.
• Work with cross functional teams to drive compilation and analysis of customer, market and competitive intelligence.
• Engage in company revenue plan

Pricing Operations

• Responsible for executing pricing playbooks including in-quarter tactical pricing actions as necessary to optimize business performance and execute company revenue plan.
• Responsible for managing all aspects of the price waterfall from list price formation to discounting/rebate framework to EOL Process.
• Perform ongoing pricing research and analysis to support price strategy formulation as well as tactical decisions as necessary within a dynamic market environment.
• Continually innovate your end-to-end pricing process to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Review, decide and execute programs to countries/customers in a timely manner
• Propose your pricing execution plan for current quarter and outer quarters.
• Analyze pricing plan, and review pricing execution result.

About you:

• BS/BA degree in Economics, Finance, Sales Operations, or related field and/or MBA preferred
• Min 5 years of experience in pricing/business/financial planning and analysis, preferably supporting product management or sales functions.
• Strong understanding of pricing strategies and concepts – supported by strong analytical, data processing and problem-solving skills.
• Strong skills in communication, negotiation and stakeholder management.
• Self-drive/resilient/creating or responding constructively to challenging new ideas and inputs as well as managing ambiguity
• Meet deadlines and work under pressure with limited supervision
• Manages multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously, balancing priorities effectively
• Identifies relevant and effective data sources with tenacity, proposing solutions to identified issues
