About the role - you will:

As a Strategy AI Developer, you will design, build, and support AI-enabled applications that strengthen how the Corporate Development & Strategy team conducts research, analyzes information, communicates strategy, and makes decisions. You will work at the intersection of software engineering, applied AI, data, and business strategy, partnering closely with strategy and corporate development professionals to translate business needs into practical, scalable solutions.

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Python-based applications that automate research, synthesize competitive and market intelligence, and support strategic analysis and communication.
• Build and maintain AI agents that connect with approved internal and external data sources, automate analytical workflows, and improve the speed and quality of decision support.
• Develop and maintain reliable data pipelines for structured and unstructured information used by strategy tools and AI applications.
• · Apply technologies such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Model Context Protocol (MCP), large language models, and agentic frameworks to relevant business use cases.
• Create prototypes, evaluate technical feasibility, and iterate solutions based on stakeholder feedback, business value, usability, and scalability.
• Monitor application performance and output quality; troubleshoot issues and maintain appropriate testing, access, approval, and human-review controls.
• Partner with strategy, corporate development, technology, data, security, legal, and other teams to understand workflows, define requirements, and align solutions with enterprise standards.
• Translate technical concepts, limitations, and recommendations into clear language for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Document solution architecture, data flows, operating procedures, and maintenance requirements to support sustainable adoption and knowledge transfer.
• Stay current on developments in applied AI and software engineering, and recommend practical opportunities to strengthen the team’s capabilities.

Your experience includes:

• Proficiency in Python and experience developing, testing, and maintaining software applications. 

• Experience with data engineering, APIs, databases, data integration, and structured and unstructured data. 

• Hands-on experience with large language models and applied AI solutions, including prompt design, evaluation, and production-oriented implementation. 

• Experience with one or more AI development approaches or frameworks, such as RAG architectures, LangChain or similar orchestration frameworks, MCP, or agent-based applications. 

• Experience applying software development practices such as version control, code review, testing, documentation, monitoring, and issue resolution. 

• Ability to assess AI-generated outputs for accuracy, relevance, reliability, and business risk. 

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills. 

• Ability to partner effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a global, cross-functional environment. 

Education and preferred qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 

• Demonstrated Python capability through professional experience, project work, or a portfolio of relevant applications. 

• Experience building or deploying AI agents, AI-enabled applications, or automation solutions in a professional or project environment. 

• Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, CI/CD practices, or enterprise application deployment is preferred. 

• Exposure to corporate strategy, competitive intelligence, business analysis, finance, or corporate development is beneficial. 

• Experience working within enterprise AI governance, information security, privacy, or responsible AI requirements is beneficial.
