About our group:

The Engineering Intern will work with the engineering team to support product development, engineering analysis, testing, and continuous improvement activities. The intern will gain hands-on experience in solving real-world engineering problems and working with cross-functional teams.

About the role - you will:

Support engineering evaluation, testing, data collection, and analysis.
Assist engineers in troubleshooting product or process issues and identifying potential root causes.
Analyze engineering data using tools such as Excel, JMP, Python, or similar analytical tools.
Support mechanical design, measurement, experiment, and validation activities.
Assist with DOE, statistical analysis, simulation, or other engineering studies where applicable.
Develop simple scripts, dashboards, or automated analysis methods to improve engineering productivity.
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings.
Participate in engineering discussions and collaborate with cross-functional teams on assigned projects.
Complete an internship project and present results and recommendations at the end of the assignment.

About you:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles and engineering problem-solving.
Familiarity with data analysis and statistical methods is preferred.
Experience with Excel, JMP, Python, MATLAB, CAD, or similar engineering tools is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
Self-motivated, curious, and willing to learn.
