About our group:

The group develops and integrates the Electrical function of Seagate’s storage products. We develop solutions that are advanced, reliable, robust in performance, power efficient and yet cost efficient. We bring the Electrical solution from conceptualization to prototypes, test and verification, ending with the handover to factory mass production.

About the role - you will:

You will be assisting our engineers to develop test tools which use Python to control equipment to carry out automated measurement. You will need to validate the tools and perform necessary analysis as well.

 

You will have the opportunity to interact, consult and learn with the team of Hardware Engineers coming from a diverse range of electrical backgrounds, most of them having at least 15 years of experience to share with you.

About you:

We are looking for an individual with the following qualities:

  • Familiar with Python
  • Familiar with SCPI programming
  • Willingness to learn
  • Able to work independently
  • Disciplined and focused
  • Driven with a sense of excellence and integrity
  • Familiar with Keysight oscilloscopes and Serial ATE interface will be an advantage

Your experience includes:

Currently pursuing a Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering

The Shugart site (named after Seagate’s founder, Al Shugart) is a research and design center.
