About the role - you will:
We are seeking a talented and creative Front-End Developer with an artistic flair to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end development and a passion for creating visually stunning and user-friendly web applications. As a Front-End Developer, you will work closely with Data Scientists and Engineering Teams to bring innovative designs to life, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
About you:
Design and develop visually appealing and responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Collaborate with designers to translate creative concepts into functional and interactive web pages. Implement and maintain front-end frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) to enhance user interfaces. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Create and maintain reusable code and components to streamline development processes. Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure high-quality and bug-free applications. Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and continuous learning activities.
Your experience includes:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in front-end development or a related field. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js). Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility. A keen eye for design and attention to detail, with a portfolio showcasing your artistic and technical skills. Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or Figma. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Location:
The Shugart site (named after Seagate’s founder, Al Shugart) is a research and design center. Easily accessible from the One-North MRT Station, many employees choose to take mass transportation to work. Being a purpose-built building, The Shugart has excellent employee recreational facilities. Take an active break at our badminton courts, table tennis tables, in-house gym, and recreation rooms.
