About our group:
The APJ Channel Marketing team drives regional go-to-market programs with distributors and partners across ANZ, ASEAN and North Asia. We manage portfolio selling for Systems, Enterprise, VIA, and NAS, and collaborate closely with Global Marketing, Sales Ops, and IT to execute Market Development Funds (MDF), Deal Registration incentives, and co-marketing activities. This internship is based in Singapore and is part of a global, collaborative culture focused on innovation and measurable impact. About the role - you will:
As an APJ Channel Marketing Intern, research the AI marketing landscape, categorize solutions (lead gen & management, new business funnels, partner management, brand building), and recommend high-impact pilots that position Seagate as a market leader in AI-enabled marketing. You will also explore how these tools integrate with our existing marketing processes and marketing platforms such as Qchi or Sales Force, working cross-functionally with IT and regional marketing. This internship offers hands-on experience with enterprise platforms, data, and real go-to-market campaigns across Asia Pacific & Japan. Research and map the AI marketing tools and applications landscape relevant to Seagate, focusing on enterprise-grade solutions and partner-centric use cases. Categorize solutions into lead generation & management, new business funnels, brand building, and partner management; recommend evaluation criteria such as security, integration, pricing, and compliance. Propose 5–8 AI marketing pilot projects to help Seagate lead in AI adoption (e.g., AI-assisted lead scoring, partner activation copilot, content intelligence, multilingual campaign assistants, attribution analytics, opportunity nurturing). Assess integration patterns between shortlisted tools and Seagate platforms (e.g., Qchi and M365), outlining data flows, governance, and change management. Design pilot measurement frameworks (KPIs, dashboards) and document playbooks for scale-up across APJ. Collaborate with regional Channel Marketers and IT to gather requirements, test prototypes, and capture user feedback. Summarize insights for leadership with executive-ready slides, including business case, cost/benefit analysis, and implementation plan.
About you:
We’re looking for someone who is curious, analytical, and excited to turn AI into measurable outcomes: A curious problem-solver with strong research and synthesis skills. Comfortable engaging cross-functional stakeholders and documenting clear recommendations. Analytical and able to define KPIs and measure outcomes. Organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple workstreams. Able to commit to a full-time internship from May/August to December.
Your experience includes:
Currently pursuing Master’s or Bachelor in marketing, Business analytics, information systems or computer science. Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., generative AI, chat assistants) and marketing platforms (CRM/MA). Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; bonus for Power BI or Tableau. Strong writing and presentation skills.

The Shugart site (named after Seagate’s founder, Al Shugart) is a research and design center. Easily accessible from the One-North MRT Station, many employees choose to take mass-transportation to work.
