About the role - you will:

  • Material handling and inspection 
  • Order picking and shipping. 
  • Assembly 
  • Machine set-up and operation 
  • Reading and understanding order tickets and prints 
  • Machine maintenance 
  • Quality inspection with calipers and micrometers
  • Knowledge of additive manufacturing and materials
  • Basic CAD

Your experience includes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science related field required. 
  • Interest in additive manufacturing and its applications
  • Interest in material science
  • Experience with CAD modeling (SolidWorks)
  • Ability to apply skills learned in the classroom to situations in the workplace. 
  • Ability to calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics. 
  • A good understanding of basic geometric tolerancing. 
  • Must be able to understand directions in written, oral or diagram form. 
  • Have effective problem-solving skills.

Our Shakopee campus is located 25 minutes southwest of Minneapolis in a setting with a rural vibe – it overlooks a horse racing track and stables, yet it has great entertainment venues close by as well. With wide-open spaces, the campus has plenty of space for running, biking, shooting some hoops or playing volleyball over lunch. The estimated base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $85,800. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
