Senior Human Resources Business Partner

The Seagate Human Resources team is looking for a smart, forward-thinking problem solver for the Sr.
Human Resources Business Partner role. The role of a Human Resources Business Partner is to solve
complex organizational challenges with people-related solutions aligned to our core values showing a
commitment to provide an amazing employee experience for our employees. This role will be responsible
for influencing and executing our organizational and people-related strategy as well as partnering with our
leadership team.

About the role - you will:

 

  • Work collaboratively with all employees to drive a cohesive and inclusive people strategy and provide the voice of the client to HR Product Centers
  • Successfully design and drive strategic people-related plans in line with organization objectives
  • Develop strategies by identifying and researching human resource issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to the organizations’ strategic thinking and direction
  • Provide insightful data to guide decision making and provide proactive solutions
  • Be a partner and trusted advisor to leaders and play a critical role in enhancing their leadership effectiveness
  • Help others solve problems and get to the root cause of any issue, no matter how complex, and design and quickly implement solutions that cut across multiple disciplines
  • Provide expertise in the following areas: career planning, performance management, coaching, data analysis, compensation and rewards, employee relations, learning and development, talent reviews, recognition programs, and org design & development.
  • Create communication and presentations materials that present information in a clear and effective manner
  • Lead and participate in local or global project teams on HR projects and initiatives. Program and project management as needed
  • Be a role model and guide for employees. Champion, promote and demonstrate our culture of Integrity, Inclusion, and Innovation

Your experience includes:

 

  • In depth knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, employee engagement, inclusion and diversity, performance management, coaching and development, and employment laws
  • HR Business Partner experience
  • Exceptional communication skills across all levels of the organization
  • Bachelors degree and/or equivalent experience

 

You might also have:

 

  • Proven ability to work within a dynamic fast paced environment while juggling multiple priorities, and comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done with an execution focused mindset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to organize and analyze data, understand trends and develop recommendations for actions based on the analysis
  • Skilled communicator with a strong ability to build and influence relationships with leaders and a complex set of stakeholders to drive organizational change
  • HR Certifications: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR and/or SPHR

 

Colorado's 2021 Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) requires we inform you of the estimated salary range for this position: $76,200.00 - $109K. Actual salary range is based on fair market value of the role in the geography in which you live based on the requirements of the job and your skills.  This posted salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate and Seagate reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
