Every AI model, scientific discovery, business decision and human connection depends on it. As the world creates more data than ever before, the challenge is no longer generating it. The challenge is unlocking its value. The Corporate FP&A team plays a critical role in Seagate’s success by delivering enterprise-level financial reporting, forecasting, planning, and business insights that support strategic decision-making, business performance management, and executive leadership alignment.

Success in this role requires strong critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to quickly learn new business drivers, systems, processes, and analytical methods in a dynamic environment. You will connect financial results with operational drivers, business trends, and strategic priorities while building trusted partnerships across Accounting, IT, Product Line Management, Sales Operations, and other cross-functional teams. •    Create compelling dashboards and analytics for real-time performance visibility, agile decision-making, and improved business transparency using connected planning and business intelligence tools.
•    Lead and/or participate in process and reporting improvement initiatives that improve forecast accuracy, reporting efficiency, data accessibility, and relevance of insights.
•    Move beyond surface-level reporting to identify root causes, leading indicators, and forward-looking insights that help Seagate make better decisions.
•    Apply structured problem-solving to ambiguous business questions, challenge assumptions where needed, and use sound judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

About you:

•    Highly analytical, with the ability to summarize large, complex data sets and translate them into actionable business insights.
•    Proven skills in Excel modeling, including advanced formulas, scenario analysis, charting, and executive-ready presentation development.
•    Strong collaborator with excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
•    Able to connect financial results with operational drivers, business trends, and strategic priorities to support better decision-making.
•    Intellectually curious and quick to learn, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, ask thoughtful questions, and build business understanding across unfamiliar topics.
•    Proactive, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Your experience includes:

•    Extensive experience in financial analysis, Corporate FP&A, business operations, or a related analytical role.
•    Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Copilot with experience using artificial intelligence, business intelligence, and planning tools such as SAP BW/BPC, Tableau, Power BI, and KNIME.
•    Experience automating repeatable business processes, improving reporting workflows, and creating BI dashboards.
