The ability to effectively build business relationships, partner with various groups including Accounting, IT, Product Line Management, and Sales Operations teams, is a demonstrated strength you bring to the table. Reporting to the Director of Corporate FP&A, as a Senior Analyst you will:

    • Develop and provide financial reporting, analysis and presentations throughout the quarter including metrics, trends, and recommendations for proper course of action for business partners and executive management
    • Prepare financial statement outlooks including income statement, balance Sheet and cash flow by consolidating critical inputs from various business and finance teams while utilizing advanced modeling skills along with proven reliable forecasting processes
    • Create compelling dashboards for real-time analysis and agile decision-making leveraging connected planning and business intelligence tools
    • Lead and/or participate in various process and reporting improvement projects and initiatives to improve reporting and forecast accuracy, accessibility, and relevance of data
    • Demonstrate sound judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
    • Define decision support metrics driven analytics and create a view that allows Seagate to think beyond "first line" analytics

About you:

    • Highly analytical and comfortable with reporting, analyzing, and summarizing large complex data sets while leveraging business intelligence tools
    • Strong skills in Excel modeling (including advanced formulas and chart building) and developing compelling PowerPoint presentations
    • Proficient in SQL, Python, ETL and visualization tools
    • Organizational, collaborative and people skills
    • Initiative-taking individual with ability to adapt with proven ability to meet deliverables and project timelines 

Your experience includes:

    • Extensive demonstrated experience in financial analysis and/or business operations, preferably in a high-tech manufacturing company
    • Advanced skills in and Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint, business Intelligence and planning tools such as SAP BW/BPC, Business Objects, Tableau, Alteryx
    • Previous history with automating repeatable business processes and BI report creation
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
    • Ability to work in a challenging, fast paced, demanding environment, participating in multiple projects simultaneously
    • Bachelor's degree (Finance/Accounting preferred) and/or equivalent experience

The estimated base salary range for this position is $82,000 - $117,000. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
 
Seagate offers comprehensive benefits to its eligible employees, including, but not limited to, eligibility to participate in discretionary bonus program, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, short-and long-term disability, 401(k), employee stock purchase plan, health savings account, dependent care, and healthcare spending accounts. The benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year and may differ depending on work location.
