Seagate’s Talent Acquisition team enables business growth by partnering with leaders to attract, engage, and hire talent across manufacturing, engineering, and corporate functions while building strong candidate experiences and future-ready talent pipelines.

The incumbent will serve as a trusted talent advisor to business leaders and hiring managers across Malaysia and Singapore, leading end-to-end recruitment across manufacturing, engineering, technical, and corporate functions while supporting workforce planning and Talent Acquisition projects that enable business growth.

About the role - you will:

  • Partner with business leaders, hiring managers, HR Business Partners, Compensation, and cross-functional stakeholders across Malaysia and Singapore to translate workforce needs into effective talent acquisition plans.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle across manufacturing, technical, engineering, and corporate hiring, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessment, offer management, negotiation, and onboarding support.
  • Lead high-volume manufacturing recruitment for production operators, technicians, supervisors, and support roles while supporting professional and specialized hiring needs.
  • Provide market insights, hiring capacity guidance, recruitment analytics, and data-driven recommendations to support workforce planning and hiring decisions.
  • Develop sourcing strategies and proactive talent pipelines through direct sourcing, talent mapping, referrals, social media, networking and labor market data.
  • Support ramp-ups, hiring readiness, recruitment governance, candidate and hiring manager experience, compliance, RBA audit readiness, process improvements, technology enhancements, and talent attraction initiatives.

About you:

  • Strategic yet hands-on talent acquisition professional who thrives in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Experienced in balancing high-volume operational hiring with professional and specialized recruitment across manufacturing, engineering, and corporate talent segments.
  • Skilled at partnering with leaders, influencing hiring decisions, and executing workforce planning and talent strategies through data and market insights.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences.
  • Highly adaptable, resourceful, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset.

Your experience includes:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • More than 5 years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience within manufacturing, technology, electronics, semiconductor, or multinational environments.
  • Demonstrated experience managing both high-volume manufacturing recruitment and professional/exempt hiring.
    Knowledge & Skills
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing workforce dynamics, labor market trends, and recruitment practices in Malaysia and Singapore.
  • Expertise in sourcing, interviewing, talent assessment, recruitment marketing, and talent pipeline development.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HR technologies, recruitment metrics, and data insights to improve hiring outcomes.
  • Strong project management, stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple hiring priorities and Talent Acquisition projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated experience leading or participating in process improvement initiatives.
  • Proficiency in English; Mandarin and/or Bahasa Malaysia would be an advantage.
