The Security Team creates, delivers, and updates strategic programs and investigative services; provides a secure and safe working environment; protects the company's assets; safeguards confidential information and investigates violations of company policy or criminal/civil law. Security is divided into specific sub-functions to address regional needs and global activities, namely: Physical Security teams are focused on facilities' physical security which encompasses people, facilities, financial interests, and site-specific investigations; Global Investigations; Global Programs, Systems & Projects; Global Supply Chain; Governance, Risk & Compliance; and Security Operations.

About the role - you will:

 

Be responsible for overseeing the security operations, ensuring a safe and secure environment for our employees, visitors, and assets. The Senior Security Supervisor will lead a team of security personnel, implement security protocols, and respond to incidents as needed.
 

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel to maintain a high level of security on the premises
  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the safety of personnel, property, and information
  • Conduct regular security assessments and identify areas for improvement
  • Train and mentor security staff (guards) on security procedures, emergency response, and customer service
  • Monitor surveillance systems and alarms, and promptly respond to incidents or breaches
  • Collaborate with other departments to address security concerns and coordinate responses to emergency situations
  • Conduct investigations into security incidents and prepare detailed reports for management
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to security
  • Maintain accurate records of security-related activities, incidents, and personnel training
  • Stay informed about current security trends, technologies, and best practices
  • Undertake security systems project management assignments

About you:

 

  • Knowledge of security operations and protocols
  • Effective leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Utilization of Microsoft Office skills for maintaining records and reports
  • High caliber with integrity and accountability
  • Attended security trainings courses or additional certification in security management and as required by local regulations are an added advantage
  • Willing to travel for work to sites: Singapore, Penang and Seremban
  • Investigation skill and knowledge
  • Able to converse fluently in both Malay and English language 

Your experience includes:

 

  • At least 3 to 5 years of proven hands-on background as a Security Supervisor or similar role
  • Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
  • Familiarity with surveillance systems and other security technologies
  • Diploma/Degree holder or equivalent with relevant experience. Certificate holder in relevant field with at least 5 years of relevant working experience can be considered
