Senior HR Administrator (Employee Relations)

About the role - you will:

 

  • Build, facilitate and support employee relations, engagement and communications within the company with all levels of management, employees, internal and external stakeholders
  • Handle work-related grievances; conduct & investigate cases and coordinate ER disciplinary inquiry process including keeping records. Resolve ER issues in a timely and systematic manner
  • Collaborate with external agencies eg. Ministry of Human Resources, and companies in similar industries to ensure a harmonious partnership and that internal ER policies, processes and practices are compliant, fair, relevant, effective and efficient
  • Partner with Operations and Occupational Health to review and attend to medically assisted restricted employees’ cases, and to facilitate amiable resolution on issues
  • Organize and conduct dialogue sessions and facilitate skip-level meetings to obtain feedback and engage with various levels of employees and people-managers
  • Conduct research and analyzes data on assigned projects and make recommendations for improvements
  • Organize, conduct and facilitate employees training such as annual people-manager refresher/training pertaining to Coaching & Discipline, Grievance Handling and Harassment Free Workplace
  • Partner with Internal Communication on general communication on various HR-related topics including holidays and shift calendars
  • Provide support to the human resources function Centre of Excellence-related projects, new program roll-out, user acceptance testing (UAT) etc. and to implement, manage, and communicate EoC programs, in a timely manner. HR EoC in Seagate include Total Rewards, Talent Development, Talent Acquisition, HR Central, Legal Counsel, etc
  • Be responsible for Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) compliance and Employee Relations & operations deployment activities on site in ensuring compliance to the RBA audit standards
  • Have the opportunity to participate in various in projects, committees, e.g., 5-S, Earth Day, CSR programs, Cafeteria committees etc.

Your experience includes:

 

  • Well versed with Malaysia employment labors and the labor market
  • In depth knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, employee engagement, inclusion and diversity, performance management, coaching and development, and employment law
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft applications ie. Powerpoint, Excel, charting tools, and data analysis

About you:

 

  • Good written, presentation, listening and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Team player and good interpersonal skills to work effectively in a cross-functional team
  • Self initiator and able to work independently with less supervision
  • Have in depth knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, employee engagement, inclusion and diversity, performance management, coaching and development, and Malaysia employment law
  • Familiar in change management and is comfortable operating in an organization that is moving quickly
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource of relevant field and with at least 5 years of relevant experience in Employee Relations role
