JBS QA is part of RMO QA, reporting to Global QA. The group's primary role is to ensure JBS manufactures substrates that meet customer specifications and quality requirements. It ensures compliance with established processes, controls, systems, and other relevant internal or external quality standards.

About the role - you will:

 

  • Lead and supervise a team of Manufacturing Specialists and Engineering Specialists to achieve objectives and key results (OKRs)
  • Plan and coordinate manpower for shifts, ensuring routine tasks like LAT buyoff, shipment buyoff, and VIQ report updates are performed according to product requirements
  • Collaborate with Process Engineering to manage containment/DMR issues promptly
  • Feed-Forward major quality issue to customer as and when required
  • Provide inventory summaries affected by major DMRs at KLW or loaded at Media
  • Work with the Product Team on SAH monitoring and tracking, taking necessary actions as required
  • Monitor, analyze, and update the monthly Factory Score Card for JBS
  • Prepare report on LAT/VIQ performance and collaborate with teams for improvements
  • Liaise with customer’s QA/Material Planner on inventory management and status at KLW
  • Prepare and present containment updates to customer as needed
  • Follow up on any 5D from Drive and respond within a reasonable timeline
  • Lead JBS QA on PExA audits and maintain/update QA-related documents

About you:

 

  • Acquired a blend of technical proficiency, leadership capabilities, and the skills to efficiently oversee and enhance quality assurance processes
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and customers
  • Familiar on the application of Microsoft Office Software for report generation
  • Ability to analyze and summarize issues with focus on data-driven decision-making
  • Flexibility with excellent time and task management skills
  • Possesses people management skill with attention to detail
  • Inquisitive, self-motivated and passionate about quality
  • Obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering field

 

Your experience includes:

 

  • At least 6 years of hands-on working background in Media/Substrate manufacturing environment with familiarity in process engineering or quality assurance/control (preferred)
  • Hands-on working background in quality assurance from other previous manufacturing environment can be considered
  • Application of Database Management, SPC, Statistics or Six Sigma knowledge will be an added advantage
  • Team supervision of Engineering Specialist (Technician Support) or Manufacturing Specialist
