About our group:

 

Our group is responsible to support operation and non-operation activities related to facilities equipment, tools and hook up work. Our extended responsibilities are prioritized to maintain existing equipment and develop new set up for future requirement of the company interest. The scope of maintenance is electrical, mechanical, and civil work in the areas of ACMV and Fire Life Safety.

About the role - you will:

 

  • Ensure the efficiency and optimum operations of the Air Conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) and Fire life protection system equipment and instrument
  • Respond and conduct preventive maintenance effectively and efficiently and suggest any improvement
  • Conduct periodic checks and routine inspection according to the system recommendation and checklist
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns promptly. Under urgent cases, the person shall be required to work outside normal hours
  • Monitor day-to-day maintenance and ensure all equipment is operating and maintain cost effectively, safely, and efficiently
  • Report on maintenance progress and monitor the sequence of works in accordance with the approved timeline work programmed
  • Ensure the work is performed in accordance with the specifications and approved procedures
  • Comply with all company policies, procedure, and standards
  • Supervise the work of subcontractors engaging in maintenance work and project if any
  • Handle any other related matters directed by Supervisor
  • Work in work shift E (good work life balance) - 7.00AM to 7.00PM, Mon - Thu on W1&4&5 of FM / Mon - Wed on W2&3 (good work life balance) (Subject to change)

About you:

 

 

  • Good verbal and written communications skills in Malay and English language
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Words, Excels, Power Point)
  • Efficient planning, organizational and interpersonal skill
  • Result-oriented and a team player
  • Able to perform duties with minimal supervision and in a safely manner
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • Good in attendance and punctuality
  • Able and willing to work on standby request, Overtime, Public Holiday/OFF or Rest Day

Your experience includes:

 

  • Diploma in Refrigeration and Air conditioning system. Other related Engineering field can be considered. Certificate holders with 1-3 years relevant working experience are welcomed to apply
  • Fresh Diploma Holders in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering. are welcomed to apply. Wireman certification will be an added advantage
  • Experience in Air Conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) & Fire life protection system with emphasis in operation and maintenance of equipment and instrument
  • At least 1-year related field working background
  • Facilities maintenance in operations
  • Knowledgeable or hands-on background in installation of GI/Mild Steel/PVC piping and rectification of piping issues is preferred
